Pearls Education has a mission
to educate Muslim children in a way that will light the fire within them to stay curious and engaged!
Isn't that what we need in this world? Dedicated human beings who are open and look around them to see what is needed in this world? They need to learn to think critically and to develop skills to create solutions. They need to learn to organise themselves and especially...to love one another!
Anas narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said:
"None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself."

Give them purpose
& ignite curiosity

We believe that if you want children to be critical and active thinkers and doers, they will need extraordinary teaching. PEARLS Education aims to teach children in a way that will help them develop a strong sense of purpose in their lives. It is wonderful to ignite curiosity and an eagerness to learn. This will happen if they feel a strong sense of purpose for what they are learning every day. We want them to keep questioning and wondering about the world around them.
- How does this thing work?
- Is it true that ...?
- What is needed for a solution.
It will also to help children to self reflect.
“And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein [something] of every beautiful kind, Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns [to Allah].”
Quran 50:7-8
During this process we encourage them to be active and make many interactions with their surroundings. This to ensure that the knowledge will always be connected to actions and build their eemaan.
Enquiry-based Learning

It is a form of active learning that starts by posing questions, problems or scenarios—rather than simply presenting established facts or portraying a smooth path to knowledge.
Enquiry based learning is a process and a topic develops along different stages. The children will identify and research issues and questions to develop their knowledge or solutions.
Essentially, enquiry-based learning is a natural way to learn. It allows students much more control of their learning experience, while teachers help and guide them along. It encourages our children’s natural curiosity and sense of wonder about the world around them.
Let's have a look at the different stages:
In this stage of enquiry, the student will be introduced to a problem, issue or scenario. It is a stage of wondering and arousing curiosity. There are multiple ways for pupils to engage and respond. It is open-ended and gives lots of questions.
When students feel motivated to find answers to their questions, they read and listen with a strong sense of purpose. The students are highly engaged and are ready to explore the problem, issue or scenario actively with support from the teacher, they are exploring all the questions that have come up. They investigate to find answers to those questions.
The students are now able and encouraged to present answers and to show their understanding of the topic. They can show what they know about the topic. Through enquiry their curiosity will be stimulated more. What is still there to find out?
The students work on the new arisen questions and are looking further into evidence. They use what they have learned earlier to achieve the goals to investigate further.
The students are presenting their research and their findings. They have the confidence now to speak out about their learning experiences.
